Your Vaughan bathroom team

Curbless Showers and Spa Ensuites, Built to Last

In Vaughan, we turned a dark, dated bathroom into a bright room with a curbless walk-in shower. It shows what we care about most: careful waterproofing, precise floor slopes, and tile and glass that line up perfectly. We’re based next door in Richmond Hill, and your dedicated project manager runs the job from start to finish.

  • One dedicated project manager — one point of contact from design to the final walkthrough
  • Waterproofing done right — Schluter KERDI membrane, inspected before a single tile goes on
  • Curbless shower experience — floors sloped to a linear drain, so the shower sits flush with the room
  • Permits handled — with the City of Vaughan when plumbing moves or fixtures are added
  • Written warranty — every bathroom is backed by our 2-year workmanship warranty

Bathrooms in Vaughan Homes

Vaughan’s homes range from 1960s bungalows to new subdivisions and condo towers. Bathroom projects usually start from one of these.

Builder-grade ensuites

In Maple, Vellore Village, Sonoma Heights, Patterson and Woodbridge, many ensuites from the ’90s and 2000s have a corner tub and a small shower. A large walk-in shower, a double vanity and heated floors make the biggest difference.

Curbless & accessible showers

A curbless shower is easier to step into today and as you get older. The floor is recessed or built up and sloped to a linear drain, so planning starts at the consultation.

Older Woodbridge & Thornhill homes

Bathrooms in 1960s and ’70s bungalows and backsplits can hide old galvanized pipes and cast-iron drains. We replace what’s needed once the walls are open, so the new room isn’t sitting on old plumbing.

Estate ensuites & VMC condos

Kleinburg and Islington Woods ensuites are often large, custom rooms with stand-alone soaker tubs, double vanities and big glass showers. Condo bathrooms at the VMC need management approval, elevator bookings and set work hours, which we handle.

Permits & City rules

Vaughan Bathroom Rules We Handle

  • Building permits — needed when plumbing moves, fixtures are added (like a new basement bathroom or a second sink), or walls change. Replacing fixtures in the same spots usually doesn’t need one. We prepare the drawings and book every inspection.
  • Electrical — heated floors, lighting, fans and outlets are done by licensed electricians and inspected by Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).
  • Ventilation — every bathroom we build gets a properly sized exhaust fan vented outside, to keep moisture out of your walls.
  • Construction hours — Vaughan’s noise by-law allows construction between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and not on Sundays or statutory holidays.
  • Condo approvals — management sign-off, elevator bookings, insurance certificates and work-hour rules, handled for you.

Questions

Vaughan Bathroom Renovation FAQ

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Vaughan?

Full bathrooms start from about $19,000 before HST, powder rooms from about $7,000 and primary ensuites from about $31,000. Moving plumbing, the amount of tile, custom glass and fixture choices affect the price. You get a clear quote after your consultation. See the full cost guide →

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

A typical full bathroom takes 2 to 4 weeks. Powder rooms and tub-to-shower conversions are faster; heated floors or moving plumbing add time.

What does a curbless shower involve?

The shower floor sits level with the bathroom floor and slopes gently to a linear drain, so there’s no curb to step over. Getting the slope and waterproofing right is what makes it work, and it usually costs more than a standard shower. Read our curbless shower guide →

Can any bathroom have a curbless shower?

Most can, but it depends on the floor. In a house, the floor framing is often recessed; on a concrete slab, the floor may be cut or built up. We check what your bathroom needs at the consultation, before you commit.

Do I need a permit for a bathroom renovation in Vaughan?

Only if plumbing moves, fixtures are added or walls change. Replacing fixtures in the same spots usually doesn’t need one. When a permit is needed, we prepare the drawings and apply to the City of Vaughan.

Will I be without a bathroom during the work?

If you have a second bathroom, you’ll barely notice us. If it’s your only one, tell us up front, and we’ll plan the timing with you before we start.

What does the $199 consultation include?

An in-home visit, an honest talk about budget and design, and a measured floor plan report of your bathroom. The $199 is credited in full toward your project.
